Photo Images Digital Camera Learning Center

In-Store Classes

Our Digital Camera Learning Center encompasses our in-store classes taught by our knowledgable staff. We currently offer the following courses:

Digital Photography for Beginners

George Eastman's idea for getting the photographic process out to the general population was "you push the button, we do the rest." 120 years later, after struggling through the time where digital photography meant becoming an expert in the field, we have come full circle. We are now offering classes that are designed to allow beginning digital photographers to feel comfortable with taking electronic pictures. Whether you have your first digital camera or are considering one, this course is for you.

About the Course

This two-session course has been specially designed for newcomers in the digital world to help understand your camera, as well as taking and using digital pictures.

You will be learning about the basics of the camera, what buttons perform what functions, and what to do with your pictures once you have taken them. We will be talking about how pixels capture light and what happens to the image once it has been processed into your camera. You will also learn about similarities and differences between the film and digital world. Our hope is that you will come away from this course with a better understanding of the entire digital process.

Who Should Attend

Anyone who is just beginning digital photography and wants to get a better understanding of what they are doing, or anyone who has been involved in digital photography and just wants a refresher course of the basics.
